  Swim through stunning blue mineral-rich pools and a narrow canyon with dramatic limestone walls. The main stretch is around 500 meters of swimming and rock-hopping.

Trip Advice

• Getting There
  Around 70 minutes’ drive from Muscat. A 2WD vehicle is sufficient. The site has parking, restrooms, shaded seating, and BBQ areas.

• Best Time to Visit
  Visit any time of year. Spring and summer (April to August) show off the bluest water. Winter months are cooler but still enjoyable. Weekdays are quieter, while weekends and holidays can get crowded.

• What to Bring

  • Water shoes or shoes with good grip (rocks can be slippery)

  • Life jackets if you're not a strong swimmer

  • Waterproof phone case

  • Sunscreen, hat, water, snacks, and a change of clothes

• Safety & Etiquette

  • Be cautious on slippery rocks and near deep pools

  • Small fish may nibble at your feet; spiders may be present

  • Supervise children closely

  • Wear modest swimwear out of respect for local customs

1. 7:00 AM – Depart from Muscat

Top Tips

• Start early or visit late afternoon to avoid the heat and crowds

• Bring plenty of water and food, as facilities are limited
